ITS7000 Series
The AGMPL ITS7000 Series are advanced Drop Weight Impact Testing Systems designed for testing plates, films, and 3-D parts according to international standards including ASTM, DIN, ISO, and BS. Three models — ITS7000, ITS7200, and ITS7200A — cover impact energies from 550 J to 1850 J.
Through adjustment of drop weight, drop height, and accelerator spring force, each test can be performed at the desired impact velocity, impact force, or impact energy. The system is supplied complete in ready-to-use condition.

Standard Equipment
Closed-loop servo mechanism sets drop height precisely from 50 mm to 1.2 m. No manual adjustment — height is set automatically from the software before each test.
Impact velocity is adjustable through three independent parameters: drop height, drop weight, and accelerator spring compression — enabling flexible test programs without hardware changes.
An optical sensor detects a flag on the weight box immediately before impact, triggering the high-speed DAQ system and precisely measuring actual impact velocity for every strike.
ITS7200A is equipped with a pneumatically controlled anti-rebound system that arrests the weight box after the first impact, preventing secondary contact with the specimen.
4-channel DAQ system samples at up to 3.6 MHz with 16-bit resolution, capturing the complete force-time history at 2 million samples per second for accurate impact characterisation.
Application software can overlay force vs time graphs from up to five successive impacts on a single chart for direct comparison — essential for reproducibility studies and material ranking.
