Services
Transform legacy or imported testing equipment into fully automated, computerised systems — at over 60% of the cost of a new machine.

Junk to Jewel
Many precision testing machines — whether imported or domestically built — become difficult to maintain as spare parts dry up and old electronics fail. Rather than scrapping them, AG Measurematics restores and upgrades these machines to a condition that often exceeds their original specification.
We work on machines of any brand, any age, and any function — from simple load testers to complex multi-axis servo rigs. The result is a modernised, fully computerised machine backed by our standard service warranty.

Fully computerised with servo control and real-time force-velocity plotting.

Zwick Roell
Manual hydraulic machine converted to PC-controlled with auto load stepping.

Imported machine
Restored with new multi-axis load cells, controllers, and custom software.

Make: Showa, Japan (1988)
Drive system replaced, new LVDT displacement sensing and endurance counter.
Options
Full mechanical rebuild, new control system, servo drives, AGMPL sensors, and custom PC test software.
Everything in Standard, plus an Annual Maintenance Contract for 1–2 years with priority response.
Optional add-on module that monitors the machine continuously and alerts your engineers by notification when a fault is detected.
Common Questions
What types of testing machines can AGMPL repair and upgrade?
We work on any brand, any age, and any function — from simple load testers and spring testers to complex multi-axis servo rigs. This includes imported machines (Zwick, Instron, Shimadzu, Showa, MTS), domestically built machines, and one-off custom machines with no documentation.
How much does a machine upgrade cost compared to buying new?
Depending on scope, upgrades typically cost 30–60% of a comparable new machine. A standard mechanical rebuild with new controls and software starts well below replacement cost — and the upgraded machine often exceeds its original specification.
How long does a repair and upgrade project take?
A standard upgrade — strip down, mechanical rebuild, new controls, sensors, and software commissioning — typically takes 6–12 weeks from collection to delivery, depending on parts availability and machine complexity.
What warranty does AGMPL provide on upgraded machines?
All upgraded machines come with a one year free service warranty covering the control system, sensors, and software. Extended Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for 1–2 years are available as an add-on.
Does AGMPL provide operator training after the upgrade?
Yes. Onsite commissioning includes multi-day acceptance testing and full operator training on the new control system and test software. Training documentation and an operator guide are provided at handover.
Can AGMPL collect the machine from our site?
Yes. We handle pickup, safe transportation to our facility, and re-delivery to your site as part of the upgrade process — including all packing and logistics.
Share your machine details and we'll assess the upgrade potential and likely cost savings.
