AI8000+ Series
The AI8000+ is a microprocessor-based, computer-compatible measurement and control system that accepts virtually any analog transducer directly — LVDT, load cell, strain gauge, thermocouple, RTD, and 4–20 mA signals — without external signal conditioning modules. The totally wire-free modular construction allows plug-and-play channel expansion from 8 channels up to 1440 in a single networked system.
Three base configurations address different industries: AI8000+/1 for engineering research and structural testing (strain gauge rosettes, AC LVDT), AI8000+/2 for industrial process plants (4–20 mA loops, RTD, DC LVDT), and AI8000+/3 for high-channel multi-sensor measurement. All configurations share the same accuracy class — 0.05% FSR for most input types.

Sensor Compatibility
Direct connection to virtually any analog transducer — no external signal conditioning required.
Built-in 2V rms, 1 kHz sinusoidal excitation. Linear calibration standalone; 4th-degree polynomial with PROsof. Range ±30–300 mm. Resolution 0.01–0.1 mm.
Accepts DC LVDTs powered by external ±15V or 24V DC supply. Range ±30–300 mm. Same 0.05% FSR accuracy as AC variant.
5V DC bridge excitation. Full scale ±24,000 µε (GF=2). Gauge factor programmable to 10.000. Supports 2/3/4/5/6-wire configurations. Resolution: 1 µε.
Strain gauge-based transducers, 0.5–10 mV/V output. Resolution 0.002 mV — least count 0.1% rated capacity for sensors ≥0.4 mV/V sensitivity.
Types J (0–750°C), K (0–1250°C), T, E (0.25% accuracy), R, S, B (0.5% accuracy). Cold junction compensation built-in. Resolution: 1°C.
1 mA constant current excitation. Range –20 to +200°C. Resolution 0.1°C. Accuracy <0.5% of range. Also supports Cu53.
100 Ω input resistance. Resolution 0.001 mA. Accuracy <0.05% of range. Direct connection to process transmitters and loop-powered sensors.
Accepts ±300 mV, ±3V, and ±15V inputs. Connects any voltage-output transducer or process signal directly — no external signal conditioning required.

General-Purpose Data Acquisition
Data acquisition, strain measurement, setpoint control, motor speed control, and status monitoring. Stores data with timestamps; generates reports with graphs and result tables. 4th-degree polynomial calibration for highest accuracy.
Test Rig Automation
Full test rig automation for cyclic and endurance testing. Programmable control sequences, conditional logic, test data storage, and automatic report generation. Adaptable to any AI8000+ configuration.
Locomotive & Engine Load Testing
Computerized load and performance testing for diesel locomotives and water load boxes. Adaptable to automotive diesel engine testing. Data logging, live performance curves, and compliance reporting.
