Overview

The Zeus5000 is a multichannel data recording indicator and system suitable for virtually any measurement and control application. It can be configured with up to 4 channels of analog input with 4-channel relay control, and operates in standalone or computerised mode with live data viewing and recording.

It accepts a wide range of transducer inputs — AC and DC LVDTs, strain gauge bridges, load cells, pressure sensors, thermocouples, RTDs, and process signals (4–20 mA, mV, V). The 16-channel rack-mount variant adds Ethernet connectivity and programmable logging intervals for large-scale industrial monitoring.

Acceptable Sensors

One instrument for virtually any transducer type — LVDT, strain gauge, load cell, temperature, and process signals.

AC LVDT

0.05% FSR

Built-in 2V rms, 1 kHz sinusoidal excitation. Linear calibration in standalone mode; fourth-degree polynomial with PC software. Resolution: 0.01 mm (up to ±30 mm stroke).

DC LVDT

0.05% FSR

Accepts DC LVDTs powered by external ±15V or 24V DC supply (supplied separately). Same 0.05% FSR measurement accuracy as AC variant.

Strain Gauge Bridges

±0.05% FSR

5V DC bridge excitation. Full scale range ±24,000 µm/m with gauge factor programmable up to 10.000. Resolution: 1 µm/m. Supports 2/3/4/5/6-wire configurations.

Load Cells & Pressure Sensors

0.05% FSR

Accepts strain gauge-based transducers with 0.5 to 10 mV/V output. Resolution: 0.002 mV — allowing least count of 0.1% of rated capacity for sensors with ≥0.4 mV/V sensitivity.

Thermocouples

0.25%

Types J, K, T, E (0.25% accuracy) and R, S, B (0.5% accuracy). Cold junction compensation via built-in sensor or external channel. Resolution: 1°C.

RTD

<0.5% range

1 mA constant current excitation. Temperature range –20 to +200°C. Resolution: 0.1°C. Accuracy <0.5% of range (excluding conformity error of sensor).

4–20 mA Signals

<0.05% range

100 Ω input resistance. Resolution: 0.001 mA. Accuracy <0.05% of range. Also supports 0–20 mA configuration.

mV & V Signals

0.05% FSR

Accepts 0~±300 mV, 3V, and 15V signal inputs. Suitable for connecting any voltage-output transducer or process signal directly.

Zeus5000 16-channel multi-channel rack configuration

The 16-channel variant mounts in a standard 19″ rack cabinet with Ethernet + USB connectivity and programmable logging intervals — ideal for large-scale industrial monitoring and multi-station test rigs.

Push-Button Nulling

Tare any input channel with a single button press. Null values are saved in local memory and persist across power cycles — no re-zeroing needed after restart.

16 GB Data Logging

Precision time-stamped data recording to a removable micro SD card. Files are saved in standard format and can be transferred to any PC via a standard card reader.

Real-Time Clock

Built-in clock with leap year and month correction. All data files are automatically timestamped — ensuring traceability for calibration and audit records.

Engineering Unit Display

4-line × 20-character backlit dot-matrix LCD displays measured values directly in engineering units (mm, µm, kN, °C, mA, etc.) — no manual conversion required.

Setpoint Control

Two relays per channel with contact rating 230V, 2A. User-defined setpoints trigger relay outputs for alarm, process control, or test-stop functions.

Test Report Generation

Application software generates hard-copy test reports embedded with graphs and result tables. Data can be viewed in numerical and graphical formats on screen.
