Positron Series AW
The Series AW is a dedicated waterproof AC LVDT designed for applications where the coil assembly is exposed to frequent oil or water splashes, or must operate fully submerged. Rated to 2 metres of water column depth, it handles the harshest environments that standard LVDTs cannot tolerate.
Its annular space can be filled with oil to provide hydraulic damping of core rod movement — a key advantage in vibration-prone or shock-loaded test rigs. Built in a 22 mm stainless steel body with rugged stainless steel conductors, the AW series offers frictionless, infinite-life operation across 5 models from ±1 mm to ±25 mm.
