Positron Series AU

Overview

The Series AU is the slimmest LVDT in the Positron range — just 8.0 mm in diameter. Designed specifically for severely constricted spaces where even the 9.5 mm Slimline AM series cannot fit, it brings precision displacement measurement into the tightest fixtures, jigs, and instruments.

With a threaded M2.5 stainless steel core rod and two nuts supplied, the AU series attaches directly to moving parts without additional adaptors. At 150 mV/V/mm sensitivity on the 001AU model, it is a direct electronic replacement for mechanical dial gauges — offering infinite life, frictionless operation, and automated data capture.

Core rod supplied free (not spring-loaded). Two M2.5 nuts included. Unipolar range configurable via signal conditioner (e.g., 005AU usable as 0–10 mm). Custom ranges on request.
