Overview
This specialised equipment is engineered for mission-critical defence applications and is supplied exclusively to the Indian Army, proof ranges, and authorised defence organisations within India. Due to national security protocols and export-control regulations, detailed specifications, drawings, and performance parameters are not published online.
The system is designed for high-precision measurement, rugged field reliability, and long-term deployment in demanding operational environments. It supports essential ordnance quality assurance workflows where accuracy, stability, and compliance with defence standards are mandatory.
Testing Capabilities
Artillery pull-out testing is a critical quality assurance process in ordnance manufacturing and depot operations. The test measures the axial force required to extract a projectile from its cartridge case — a key parameter that directly affects ballistic consistency, chamber pressure, and operational safety of artillery rounds. Pull-out force values must fall within tight tolerances defined by ordnance specifications; values outside this range indicate improperly crimped or degraded rounds that must be removed from service.
Beyond basic pull-out measurement, modern ordnance QA also requires crimp strength validation — confirming that the mechanical joint between projectile and case maintains structural integrity under storage and handling stresses. Both tests are performed at ammunition depots, proof ranges, and SQAE testing facilities as part of lot acceptance and periodic inspection workflows.
AG Measurematics' systems are engineered specifically for these ordnance QA applications, providing the measurement accuracy, data documentation capabilities, and rugged construction required in Indian Army and ordnance depot environments. All systems are calibrated to NABL-traceable reference standards and comply with SQAE documentation requirements.
Operational Domain
All configurations are engineered to meet stringent defence-grade requirements and can be customised for specific operational needs.
